Project description
Open Art Register is a project for the structured capture, organisation and controlled visibility of art-related information. Its aim is a durable digital infrastructure in which artistic practice and related information can be documented in a traceable context.
The idea grew out of the artist's own practice. Information about works, exhibitions and artistic development is often scattered across multiple platforms. Context gets lost and long-term visibility becomes harder. Open Art Register addresses this structural problem directly.
The project does not treat information as isolated records. It places information in traceable contexts, while public visibility, search and statistical use remain separate choices. Private and security-relevant data are kept apart from those public layers.
The technical development follows the same problem-solving logic: local tests, controlled SQL checks, read-only diagnosis against the actually installed database function, deployment-parity checks and real end-to-end verification are performed in sequence before a problem is considered resolved.
